Tijdens de Amsterdam Antiquarian Book, Map & Fair is er een tentoonstelling van boeksimulanten: boeken die geen boeken zijn. Marianne Plasmans, de grootste verzamelaar van boeksimulanten in Nederland, begon in 1985 aan een collectie die tegenwoordig 2800 boeksimulanten telt.
